Full Service

Beaubelle Design caters to small and large residential projects, from complete room makeovers to interior renovations to whole home redesign. What exactly does that mean? If your project doesn’t involve any significant structural changes (like knocking down a load-bearing wall, moving plumbing and electrical wiring around, and creating new openings for windows and doors), then we’re a good match. I can help you transform your existing space into a ‘brand new’ one that reflects your personal tastes, lifestyle and functional needs.

The Process

  1. Call, email or fill out the form on the contact page and answer the 5 Ws (who, what, where, when, why).
  2. Let’s chat! We’ll talk about your design needs (and dreams), timeline, budget and any other pertinent project details. Think of it as a way to get to know each other before our first date.
  3. Now that we’re acquainted, it’s time for us to finally meet. I’ll come to your home for a one-on-one consult (typically 2 hours) and we’ll discuss the project scope, your design style and how you use the space. I’ll also answer any of your design and decorating-related questions. At this time, I’ll walk you through the entire design process and take a tour of the space, along with detailed measurements and photographs.
  4. Afterwards, I’ll get to work on the design concept and floor plan, keeping the functionality of the space and what you want to achieve in mind.
  5. To visualize the space, I’ll create a design board full of product and finish selections, fabric schemes, design ideas and a floor plan illustrating the best layout. Seeing the direction of the design will ensure we’re both on the same page. I’m not happy until you are, so we’ll work together until everything’s just right.
  6. As soon as the design board and layout is approved, it’s time for me to lineup any trades and shop. I’ll take care of sourcing and procuring all the goods, which includes placing the orders, scheduling deliveries, inspecting the products and overseeing professional installation (if required). Many of my suppliers offer a designer discount, which I’m happy to share with my clients.
  7. While we’re waiting for everything to arrive, try to relax (I know, it’s exciting!). During this time, and throughout the entire design process, I’ll be in touch with regular status updates, to obtain your input and any necessary approvals, and generally keep you in the know. I don’t want you to ever feel left out as the design journey is a joint one (unless you’d prefer to be hands-off and simply watch the project come together).
  8. On the day of the big reveal, all the products are put in their proper place and the space is accessorized. When you return home (it wouldn’t be a surprise otherwise), you’ll walk into a beautiful space that you can call your own. All you have to do now is sit back, relax and enjoy!
